This lovely young patient came to us with a narrow upper arch that was affecting her bite.

At Fox Orthodontics, we implemented a comprehensive treatment plan to improve their upper arch form using an expander, while a functional appliance and metal braces were utilised to address a recessive lower jaw, creating space and correcting the overall bite.

The result? Perfectly aligned teeth and a healthy, confident smile.

🦷 Narrow arch & misaligned bite transformation!

A young patient had a narrow upper arch with an increased horizontal and vertical overlap, commonly known as an overbite, along with spacing issues between the teeth.

These dental challenges not only affected the smile but jaw functionality and overall health.

🔍 Problem:
Narrow arch causing misalignment of teeth
Increased horizontal and vertical overlap
Overbite affecting the connection between the upper and lower teeth
Noticeable gaps and spacing issues

✅ Solution:
We used a functional appliance to push the upper teeth back, while moving the lower teeth forward
Used twin block metal braces applied to ensure the upper and lower teeth connected corrected, leaving a balanced and functional bite
