We’re Finalists!

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Knoxbrooke Coffee has been named one of four finalists in the *Hospitality & Food Service* category of the prestigious Gippsland Business Awards

This recognition shines a spotlight on more than just great coffee it celebrates the passion, quality, and inclusion that defines everything we do. Our talented team, including supported employees and dedicated supervisors, work together every day to create welcoming café spaces that the local community loves.

Knoxbrooke Coffee is one of several social enterprises run by Knoxbrooke, a not-for-profit organisation creating real opportunities for people with disability through employment, learning, and connection.

This finalist status is a proud moment for everyone across Knoxbrooke a reflection of our shared commitment to community, inclusion, and excellence.

Finalists will be celebrated at a breakfast event in early August, with winners announced at a gala dinner later that month. No matter the outcome, we’re honoured to be recognised alongside so many inspiring Gippsland businesses.

This NAIDOC Week, we honour and celebrate the rich history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

At Knoxbrooke, we proudly acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work — the Gunaikurnai, Bunurong, and Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation

We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples.

The 2025 theme "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy" invites us to reflect on the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to look forward with hope, unity, and determination.

This week and always, we commit to listening, learning with respect, with purpose, and with pride

Celebrating Success!

This week, our incredible Life Skills participants officially graduated after completing a 12-month course — and what a proud moment it was!

Over the past year, these individuals dedicated one day each week to learning practical skills for greater independence, delivered in partnership http://www.goworkskills.com/

We celebrated with a graduation ceremony, a joyful afternoon tea, and were honoured to have family, friends, and staff there to cheer them on. The room was filled with smiles, happy tears, and so much pride.

To all our graduates — we are beyond proud of what you’ve achieved! This is what Knoxbrooke is all about: opening up real pathways to grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. 🌱
