This afternoon was extra special at Bayswater Childcare and Kinder as the children helped make their very own Christmas cookies! Little hands were busy mixing, shaping, and decorating with so much excitement and creativity.

A big thank you to our amazing chef for helping us bake the cookies to perfection — the whole centre smelled like Christmas! ✨

The children absolutely loved enjoying their warm, yummy cookies during afternoon tea. Moments like these make the festive season even more magical.

Today we proudly celebrated a very special milestone for our amazing 5-year-olds at Bayswater Childcare and Kinder!

Watching our kinders walk across the stage with big smiles, confidence, and excitement for the future filled our hearts with joy. They have grown so much — building friendships, exploring new ideas, and developing the skills they need for their next big adventure: Primary School! 📚🌟

What a Magical Friday at Bayswater Childcare & Kinder! ✨🎄

On our Christmas Event, our centre was filled with excitement and festive cheer as Santa made a special appearance — arriving on a FIRE TRUCK! 🚒🎅✨
The children were absolutely thrilled as the fire truck stopped at our gate, and everyone gathered to welcome Santa with big smiles and happy waves.

Throughout the afternoon, the children and families took turns having their special photo moment with Santa. 📸❤️
We loved seeing the joy on every child’s face — moments like these truly remind us why we treasure our BCCK community so much.

A heartfelt thank you to our local fire brigade for supporting this wonderful experience, and to our amazing educators and families who helped make the day so warm and memorable. 🙏💛

Today in Kinder at Bayswater Childcare and Kinder, our little learners spent the morning practising their cutting skills alongside their peers — and what a wonderful sight it was!

Using scissors safely and confidently is such an important fine-motor skill, and the children loved exploring different shapes, lines, and patterns. With lots of concentration, giggles, and teamwork, they supported one another and celebrated every snip and success. 💛

We’re so proud of their growing independence, creativity, and the beautiful friendships forming in our Kinder room. 🌈✨

What a splashing good day we had in our kinder room! 🌊✨
Our little scientists were busy exploring the question — “What floats and what sinks?” 🤔🔍
With tubs of water and a variety of objects, children made their own predictions, tested their ideas, and shared their exciting discoveries with friends.

It was amazing to see so much curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork in action! 💭🧠
Through water play, children not only had fun but also learned about science, cause and effect, and observation skills.

What a spooktacular time we had celebrating Halloween 2025! The children had an amazing day filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of fun. 🧡

From spooky arts and crafts 🖍️🕷️ to dancing along to our favourite Halloween tunes 🎶🦇 and showing off their adorable costumes, it was a day full of excitement and imagination!

🌿 Kinder Outdoor Learning Fun! 🌿

Today our Kinder children spent a beautiful time outdoors with their friends and educators, exploring the wonders of nature! ☀️

Together, they read the “Soil Builders” book and were so curious to learn amazing facts about how reptiles and insects build their homes in the soil. The children loved observing as the educator wrote their ideas on the whiteboard, sharing thoughts and discoveries as a group. 🪱🐜🐍

It was a lovely day of hands-on learning, teamwork, and curiosity — all while connecting with our natural environment. 💚🌱
