Physio isn’t just for big, dramatic injuries. 🙈

A lot of people just put up with aches, stiffness, or those little niggles thinking it’s “just part of life” but it doesn’t have to be. Most of the time, there’s something we can do to help you move and feel better.
Whether it’s pain, tightness, getting back into exercise, or just wanting your body to work the way it should, that’s literally what we’re here for!

If something’s been bugging you, it’s worth getting it checked… because you shouldn’t have to live with pain on a regular basis 🤍

Acute ankle injuries are extremely common and are frequently seen by physiotherapists—particularly in sports and fitness activities that involve rapid changes of direction, jumping, or uneven surfaces. Correct diagnosis is the most important first step in managing any ankle injury.

Recovery days don’t mean doing nothing 🙃
Your body actually loves gentle movement on rest days. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Things like walking, mobility work, or light stretching can:
• Increase blood flow to deliver oxygen and nutrients to your muscles
• Reduce soreness and that stiff “post leg day” feeling
• Help clear out the by products from tough workouts
• Support joint health and keep your range of motion strong
• Help you feel better going into your next session, not just today
• Keep you consistent and lower your injury risk over time

Rest is important, but complete rest isn’t always the answer. Sometimes the best recovery is simply moving in a different, lower intensity way.
Don’t forget to keep your body moving. Even 30 minutes a day, like a walk outside, can make a huge difference to how you feel long term 🌿🙆🏻‍♂️

People often think dry needling and acupuncture are the same thing 🪡 but they’re actually based on completely different approaches.
While both use fine needles, the goal and reasoning behind them are very different.

Dry needling (commonly used in physio) focuses on:
✔ Tight or overactive muscles
✔ Reducing pain, including sports injuries and joint pain
✔ Improving movement and supporting rehab exercises

Acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and aims to support the body’s overall balance and energy systems.

Neither is “better”, they’re just used for different reasons.

At our clinic, dry needling is just one of many tools we may use as part of a full treatment plan tailored to your injury, pain, or movement goals.

Don’t be knotty... book now. Stiff necks, tight backs, and sore muscles don’t have to be your normal. Early treatment helps prevent small issues from turning into bigger ones. Your body will thank you later.💙

🎒 Back to school tip for happy backs! Heavy or poorly fitted backpacks can cause shoulder, neck, and back discomfort in kids. Keep bags light, use both straps, and adjust them to sit snug against the back. Small changes now can help prevent aches later 📚💙
