Morning Tea Bus Trip🍰🚍

We had a lovely drive to Kerry and past Darlington Park taking in all the beautiful rural views. We stopped for morning tea and all shared fun memories and sang songs.

We had the privilege of hosting the Tamrookum Hall Dance Group for a special performance of old-time and new vogue dancing for our residents. The residents gathered in the Bob Berg Room, and their smiles and joy were a true testament to how much they enjoyed watching the couples dance. It brought back many fond memories for them, making it a heartwarming experience all around.

In addition to the dance performance, the Tamrookum Dance Group held a lovely presentation, including a heartfelt speech and a thank-you gift, honoring one of their members for her dedication and commitment to the group. She had served on the committee before joining us as a resident here at Wongaburra, and it was a special moment to recognize her contributions.

It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have hosted such a meaningful event

We are excited to let you know that Petal & Pots will be returning this year with their Christmas Pop Up Stall, a little earlier than usual.

There will be five tables of festive goodies for residents, family members, staff, and volunteers to browse and purchase a Christmas gift for their loved ones.

The Pop Up Shop will be held in the Bob Berg Room on Friday, 14th November, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Payment options will include cash, card, or PayID.

If families would like to purchase gifts for their loved one but are unable to attend, Petal & Pots also offer gift cards, allowing you to choose the amount you wish to give.
