We are pleased to provide our Hospital community with some reassurance following media that you may have seen over recent days.

Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA Health), is a proud South Australian group of not-for-profit hospitals - Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.

ACHA has a contractual agreement with Healthscope Operations. You may have seen that a parent company of Healthscope Operations, was recently placed into receivership and voluntary administration.

Be assured that ACHA has its own board of Directors that governs our three Adelaide hospitals, which is a completely separate entity to Healthscope. We employ all of our own staff - some 2,400 across Adelaide.

Our three ACHA hospitals continue to be hospitals of choice for patients, staff and Visiting Medical Officers alike. Our hospital will continue to operate as normal, patients can continue to be admitted and treated and will receive the high quality care we are known for.

We are pleased to share that we have reached an in-principle agreement with the Australian Health Service Alliance (AHSA), which ensures its members continue to be covered when attending one of our hospitals.

This agreement means AHSA fund members will not need to pay any additional fees.
