Last Sunday morning, we gathered quietly at the Lake Labyrinth in Beechworth.
Six women came together, each walking at their own pace, in their own way.
There was a gentle slowing… a softening… a returning.
In a time where so much feels fast, uncertain, and stretched, it felt meaningful to create space to pause, breathe, and come back to centre.
Toward the end, we were joined — unexpectedly — by a young child who excitedly ran into the labyrinth and into the centre, where a small altar of natural items had been placed.
She was invited to take one with her, and her face lit with wonder as she chose a shell.
It was heartwarming, and a blessing, to witness her joy in carrying out a small treasure and her delight in moving through the labyrinth.
A labyrinth is not a maze, but a single path in and out — a moving meditation, an invitation to walk with presence.
We will be holding the next Labyrinth Ritual on Saturday 3rd May.
If you feel drawn, you are very welcome to join us.

In preparation for the ritual, we spent some time tending the space — clearing leaves and debris that had gathered over the past months — so the path felt more open, cared for, and inviting for walking meditation, held with renewed intention.
If you haven’t visited before, or it has been a while, the labyrinth is feeling especially inviting after this recent tending — a gentle invitation to walk it if you feel drawn.
