We are a private Personal Training studio that specialises in functional training for better movement and strength. You can train privately 1 on 1 with a health coach (PT) or in a small group of friends and family. All of our training programs suit a range of

fitness levels and abilities- everyone is welcome! Superior Personal Training is a local studio in Yatala with highly qualified Health Coaches (PT’s) that take a holistic approach to training so you can live life with less medication and better movement. Celebrating 8 years of Superior Personal Health 🎉 As the founder, I’ve taken some time to reflect on the journey so far. In building something that has continued to grow and evolve over the past eight years, I’m incredibly grateful for every step along the way.

But most importantly, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the amazing clients I’ve had the privilege of working with ❤️

Being part of your journey—seeing improvements in strength, mobility, confidence, and overall health—has been the most rewarding part of it all. The countless transformations, big and small, are what make this work so meaningful 💪

Why is stretching so important—for everyone, but especially for those living with degenerative conditions?

As Exercise Physiologists, we often see how stiffness and reduced mobility can gradually impact everyday life. Whether it’s difficulty turning your head, standing up from a chair, or simply walking comfortably—these changes can add up over time.

Stretching plays a key role in maintaining:
• Joint mobility and range of motion
• Muscle flexibility and function
• Posture and movement efficiency

For individuals with degenerative conditions, regular stretching can help:
✔ Reduce stiffness and discomfort
✔ Improve ease of movement in daily tasks

Why do we recommend calf raises as a routine exercise for almost everyone?

Because something so simple can have a powerful impact on how your whole body moves and feels.

Calf raises help with:
• Fall prevention by improving your ability to stay steady and recover your balance
• Better balance, especially during everyday movements like walking, stairs, and uneven surfaces
• Improved proprioception (your body’s awareness of where it is in space), helping you react faster and more safely
• Increased strength and stability through the ankles and lower legs

But it doesn’t stop there!

Your ankles, knees, and hips all work as a connected chain. When your calves and ankles are stronger and more stable, it provides better support up the chain—reducing strain on your knees and hips and improving overall movement efficiency.

Calf raises can also:
