Lower back pain can be extremely disabling with 90-95% of Chronic Lower back being unspecific lower back pain. Meaning that further medical imaging is unlikely to assist in a diagnosis or help with management.

In the case of unspecific chronic lower back pain, the first line therapy is evidence-based exercise therapy delivered by an Exercise Physiologist.

Step 1: Is to get help by an Exercise Physiologist to set realistic goals to set a plan for recovery.

Step 2: Analyse current functional limitations i.e. Flexibility, Strength, Endurance, Posture, and Movement efficiency or technique.

Step 3: Follow a specifically designed exercise plan created by the results of your initial assessment (analysis of current functional limitations).

Step 4: Review regularly with the practitioner to progress your function and get back to your normal self.

Offering Individualized Sessions as well as group/community sessions.

The Holistic approach aligns the Patient/Clients values and beliefs with the modification of environmental factors including health, and lifestyle. The health changes can include exercise, sleep, stress, nutrition, and social/society.

Changing for Health aim is to increase self-awareness, and health awareness to progress individuals, but more importantly better society.
