✨ The small sprinkle that packs a punch ✨

This morning’s breakfast was my usual go-to:
🫐 Blueberries
🥣 Yoghurt
🌾 Muesli
🌱 Ground flaxseed

But today I added something extra — freshly grated cinnamon from a stick. And it’s one of the simplest upgrades you can make to your daily nutrition.

Why cinnamon deserves a place on your plate:
• Helps support blood sugar balance, which is huge for energy, hormones, and cravings
• Rich in antioxidants, supporting gut and metabolic health
• May help reduce inflammation
• Adds natural sweetness without added sugar

When paired with fibre-rich foods (like berries, flaxseed, and whole grains), cinnamon can help slow digestion and support steadier energy levels throughout the morning.

💡 Nutrition tip:
If you can, choose true cinnamon (Ceylon) and use it fresh from a stick — it’s milder, more aromatic, and lower in compounds that can be irritating in large amounts when consumed regularly.

Strength isn’t just built in the gym — it’s built in the fight to come back.

This time last year, Shona and I were preparing her body for major heart surgery.
Every session was about care, patience, and trust.

Fast-forward to now ⏩
She just finished her leg day on the 45-degree leg press with 180kg in plates, pushing her total leg press well over 200kg — and with beautiful form.

This isn’t just a big number.
It’s resilience.
It’s commitment.
It’s proof of what the body can do when it’s supported properly and trained with purpose.

Shona now has full medical clearance and is back training hard — and her recovery has been nothing short of incredible.

Time for a Change

During 2019 I made the MASSIVE decision to change my career path. I hunger to do something that helps transform and uplift the lives of others around me. I know that I have so much more to give. LIFE is for LIVING!

I am so EXCITED to have finished studying my Cert III & Cert IV in Fitness through NHFA. I feel more at home in the Gym than I do anywhere else (besides my actual home, of course).
