We love having Liv and Lilly, our two ACU Speech Pathology students, with us. They will be bringing the fun for the next 8 weeks. We’ve only known them a week but we know for certain they will both be an asset to the profession when they graduate in December! If you see them around the clinic be sure to say hi 👋🏼

With heavy (and maybe just *slightly* jealous!) hearts we farewelled Jess on her long-awaited overseas adventure. Jess’s delightful nature, thirst for challenge and joy for her clients have filled our centre for the past few years and this week feels a bit different without that special spark around. But rest assured we are searching for our next gorgeous PT to help our little ones and will let you know how we go! We wish Jess safe travels around South America and we’re sure she’s going to have the trip of a lifetime!!

Last week we celebrated Ebony’s birthday with lots of smiles, then farewelled her with tears as she makes the move back down south to be with family. We have absolutely loved having as part of the Beyond Words family. We will miss you Ebony! But we know your future is bright wherever you go!

We are still monitoring the weather but we will be open for all regular appointments on Monday 10th March. Please only travel if it is safe to do so, and give us a call if it’s not. Remember: if it’s flooded, forget it!

Sunshine Coast event announcement.

Due to Cyclone Alfred and the unpredictable weather we have moved the Sunshine Coast event 'Meltdowns to Precious Moments' from this Saturday to Monday 17th March at 6.30pm.

If you have purchased tickets for this event you will have received an email this morning from our team and also an email from Try Booking with tickets for the new date. All bookings have automatically carried over to the new date. If you need assistance with tickets or you are unable to attend on the new date please contact our office and we will be happy to help you.

I bet you have questions about the next few days: Will my roof stay on? Will my family and friends be safe? Will my toilet paper last? 🤪 Well, be sure that we will answer any questions you may have about your child’s therapy appointments as soon as we have new information. We will be rescheduling all possible Thursday afternoon appointments to earlier in the day, and Friday appointments will move to either Telehealth or phone calls. We will be in touch with specific families that are affected by this. Keep an eye out for contact from us in amongst your safety preparations. And above all, remain calm for your little ones!! The widely used saying “This too shall pass” is an oldie but a goodie! You’ve got this 💪🏼
