We are delighted to share that Dr Sylvia will be returning from maternity leave and rejoining our team from Monday, 8th September.

Dr Clement is an internationally trained surgeon, He has 15+ years of Australian experience across 4 states. He has experience in General surgery, Colorectal and Vascular surgery, ENT, Plastic, Urology, Orthopedics, Maxillofacial and Head and neck surgery.
Currently he is pursuing a career as a Rural Generalist with Advanced skills in Surgery.
Dr Clement welcomes both current and new patients for either All Consultations including Skin Cancer Treatments.

Have you met Dr Sanjay yet?

Dr Sanjay has been a part of the intensive care medicine team at NAHLN (Adelaide) and has also worked as an emergency registrar at various locations on the Sunshine coast.

Apart from his professional background, his key interests are in Theatre and stand up comedy. He used to perform dramas and produce street theatre and stage plays in India as a part of a production house. He loves cooking, camping and beach days and wishes to get back into thespian arts.

Dr Sanjay is welcoming both current and new patients 😃

✨Dr Sylvia joins the practice on 3rd April 2023✨

Dr Sylvia completed her Medical degree from James Cook University in 2017.

She has completed her hospital training years through various departments and has also completed her advanced skills training in Paediatrics at Redland Hospital in Brisbane.

Having recently completed her General Practice training through the RACGP (The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) in practices at Bundaberg and Childers, she has moved to Sunshine coast as a GP specialist and looks forward to meeting her new patients.

Sylvia enjoys all aspects of General practice with a keen focus on preventative heath and holistic care.

Her special interests include neonatal, paediatric and women’s health including Implanon insertion/removal.

She grew up in Brisbane but has fallen in love with our beautiful coast. When not at work, she enjoys the beach walks and cycling along the coast with her husband.

Dr Sylvia Shrestha will be available on Monday and Wednesday and is Welcoming new patients.

✨ Introducing Dr Amanda Brown ✨

Dr Amanda qualified in the UK in 2012 and completed a two-year foundation training program in Nottinghamshire before moving to Australia. She has worked in both the busy hospitals of Adelaide as well as regional centres in South Australia. She completed her GP training in 2020 and has been practicing in Mount Gambier for the last 3 years.

Dr Amanda enjoys the variety of General Practice and is currently working towards a diploma in Child Health. She has a keen interest in chronic disease management and disease prevention, lifestyle medicine and child and adolescent health.

She enjoys hiking and running, trying new cuisine and local restaurants and is happiest when out in nature exploring all that Australia has to offer.

Dr Amanda is available Every Tuesday & Thursday. She is looking forward to meeting you all.
