.olivercroke and Georgia are back from their Christmas break!

We had our first team meeting for 2026 yesterday and have some exciting things in the pipeline.

Merry Christmas everyone! We’ve had Dr. Dan looking after everyone while .olivercroke is on holidays. We’ve done our yearly drop off to the and want to thank them for the work they do.

We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Hopefully 2026 is a wonderful year!

We’ve had some signs up in the practice for the last month but we wanted to remind everyone of our new hours.

We’re closing our books on Wednesday afternoons to allow .olivercroke to commit to some further study.

He’ll be doing some regular updates on his professional page so you can see what he’s up to.

Tomorrow is Beth’s last day with the team before she moves to Wollongong.

She’s bought a fantastic energy and a great sense of humor to the team. She’ll be badly missed but we wish her luck.

PHONES/INTERNET:

We’re running without phones, internet or an Eftpos machine this morning.

The tech gods have not been kind to us today.

The team are making calls from their mobiles - so if you get a strange looking phone call it’s probably Beth or Dani. We’re runnings things off hotspot internet as well.

Thanks for your understanding and we should be back up and running soon.

We’ve got some changes to our hours this week and next because .olivercroke is fleeing the cold and heading somewhere warmer.

We’re open all day today and tomorrow, then closed until Wednesday the 16th.

Normal hours will resume the week of the 21st of July.

We’d like to thank everybody for their flexibility.

Taking a break when you work in healthcare can be tricky and we appreciate your support.

Welcome to the team Danni!

As she’s already been with us the past few months, most of you would’ve already met the lovely Danni.

After years of running her own holistic lifestyle minded business she has decided to switch into the local allied health space to contribute to our mission of creating a healthy community.

Her empathetic, intuitive and analytical skill set is proving a great asset to our team so far, it also helps that she has a sense of humour as fun as Dr. Oliver’s.

In her spare time she is a keen musician/artist and permaculture gardener who loves sharing what she grows each season with the clients in the practice. (Many of you tried your first Feijoa over Autumn!)

We are hiring!

Our wonderful CA Beth has decided to move away from the area after 2 years of working with us. As sad as it is to see her go we also wish her the best on her next adventure.

The ideal applicant will be friendly, organised, intelligent and confident.
The successful applicant will be responsible for answering calls, scheduling appointments and taking care of other administrative aspects of a busy office. They will also be taught the administrative aspects of our in-house x-ray machine.
We offer approximately 20 hours per week for each CA. Ideally there will be flexibility to increase this for short durations when other staff have time off. We are open Monday-Friday and usually work a split shift roster.
The position is based on the Health Professional and Support Services Award and pays between $31-33/hr.
Please keep in mind that the role is not suitable for people that are lackadaisical or half-hearted; it’s a busy environment and we expect high-standard work from each other. It helps if health is a high priority for you too; shared values will make the work feel more fulfilling.

This is Wobbly Walter.

Dr Oliver has zero expertise on duck spines but is grateful to the Turkish journal of Veterinary & Animal Sciences for what seems to be a great comparative study on duck, chicken and pigeon spines.

It was all in Turkish so he couldn’t read it - but the pictures were very useful.

Walter left the office slightly less wobbly and we wish him all the best.

Dr. Oliver will be running a workshop on Thursday 5th June @ 6:30pm on different strategies for aging gracefully.

He’ll cover research on falls risk, cognitive decline, nursing home entrance, spinal pain in the elderly and quality of life. Then go through some strategies to improve outcomes across those areas.
