We were delighted to welcome not one, but two very special visitors — Santa 🎅 and a tiny Christmas Fairy 🧚‍♀️ — who brought joy, laughter, and a touch of magic to McLaren Vale Aged Care.

Residents shared smiles, festive cheer, and special moments as they enjoyed the surprise visit, along with Christmas treats and plenty of heartfelt conversations. The room was filled with warmth, wonder, and the true spirit of the season ❤️

Our residents at Kalyra Woodcroft Aged Care have been keeping busy and embracing the festive spirit as they prepare for Christmas. From making beautiful Christmas cards to decorating our Christmas trees, there has been no shortage of creativity, laughter, and holiday cheer.

🎅✨ A Special Visit to Belair from Santa! ✨🎄

We were thrilled to welcome a very special guest to Kalyra Belair Aged Care — Santa himself! 🎅
He brought plenty of cheer, thoughtful gifts, and lots of laughs, spreading Christmas joy to everyone.

Our residents enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch and shared some wonderful moments filled with smiles, stories, and festive spirit. It was truly a heart-warming day that reminded us what this season is all about ❤️

🎄 Joyful Christmas Visits from St John’s Grammar! 🎶

We were delighted to welcome St John’s Grammar School to join our residents throughout last week, for very special intergenerational Christmas Concerts. Year 8 students and Reception students filled our home with festive cheer through their wonderful performances and singing.

We also enjoyed morning tea and games, creating beautiful moments of connection across generations.

A heartfelt thank you to the students and staff of St John’s Grammar for bringing so much joy to our residents this Christmas season. ❤️✨

🎄 What a Day in McLaren Vale! 🎄

On Sunday, Kalyra was proud to be the Gold Sponsor of the McLaren Vale Christmas Pageant — an event enjoyed by thousands of locals and visitors.

Our wonderful residents, staff, volunteers, and families helped lead the way in our beautiful Kalyra buses, joining nearly 50 festive floats in a joyful celebration of community spirit and Christmas cheer.

A huge thank you to everyone who waved, walked, smiled, and shared in the magic of the day. Moments like these remind us what community is all about. ❤️🎅✨

Our talented Art and Craft Group has had a wonderfully creative month, working through a whole range of themes in quick succession! From spooky Halloween fun, to the excitement of the Melbourne Cup, thoughtful pieces for Remembrance Day, celebrations for Men’s Day, and now diving into the festive spirit of Christmas — they’ve truly done it all.

Their creativity, enthusiasm, and teamwork shine through in every project. We love seeing the joy and inspiration these activities bring to our residents.

🎉 Melbourne Cup Celebrations Across Our Homes & Villages 🐎🌸

What a fantastic day it was celebrating the race that stops the nation! Our residents, team members, and visitors across our aged care homes and retirement villages enjoyed a day full of fun, fashion, and friendship. 💐

There were sweeps, shared food and laughter, and plenty of fabulous fascinators, dapper dress-ups and horses on show! 👒🎩

Thank you to everyone who joined in the festivities and helped make the day so special — it’s these moments of joy and connection that truly bring our communities to life. ❤️

☕ Celebrating Connection and Community! 🍰

Over the past week, our Retirement Living communities have come together for their annual meetings — a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the year that’s been and look ahead to the future.

Together, we’ve shared our achievements and highlights, reviewed financial reports, and discussed the exciting projects and goals we’ll be working on in the year ahead.

Of course, no gathering would be complete without coffee, conversation, and a delicious selection of cakes to finish off the day!
