All Drs enjoy working with sportsmen and women who need sport-specific physiology and biomechanics rehabilitation helping them reach optimum physical strength. They are extremely passionate about Health and Wellness and helping you achieve the best results possible. The clinic also has a Naturopath available specialising in all aspects of wellness, health, nutrition, skin and dietary issues, including hormones and immune related conditions. Remedial massage Therapy is also available inhouse, by appointment only, if needed as part of your care. Belridge is a stockist for Metagenics, Bioceuticals, and a supplier of a variety of Therapeutic Pillows, posture poles and rollers, lumbar supports and wedges to assist correct posture and improve mobility. 👍Also having regular breaks from sitting to keep traps relaxed and neck tension down.
Here are some safe, effective exercises and stretches to relieve trapezius and neck stress/tension. These are gentle enough for most people, but always best to stop if they cause pain:

🔹 1. Upper Trapezius Stretch

Sit or stand tall.

Gently tilt your head to one side (ear toward shoulder).

Use your hand to lightly guide the stretch — don’t pull.

Hold 20–30 seconds each side.

🔹 2. Levator Scapulae Stretch

Sit tall and turn your head about 45° to the right.

Gently bring your chin down toward your armpit.

Hold 20–30 seconds, then switch sides.

🔹 3. Shoulder Rolls

Sit or stand tall.

Roll shoulders up, back, and down in a slow circular motion.

Repeat 8–10 times, then reverse.

🔹 4. Chin Tucks

Sit or stand with your back straight.

Gently draw your chin straight back (like making a “double chin”).

Hold for 5 seconds, repeat 10 times.

Great for posture correction.

🔹 5. Doorway Chest Stretch (helps traps relax by opening the chest)

Stand in a doorway, arms at 90° on the frame.

Step one foot forward and gently lean through the doorway.

Hold 20–30 seconds.👌

The clinic also has a Naturopath, Madaleen Espach, specialising in all aspects of wellness, health, nutrition, skin and dietary issues, including hormones and immune related conditions. We offer a Remedial Massage Therapist onsite to assist with your injury rehabilitation and pain management. Belridge is also a stockist for Metagenics, Bioceuticals, and variety of Therapeutic Pillow suppliers.
