Happy International Yoga Day & Winter Solstice ❄🧘‍♀️

Today we honour International Yoga Day, a global celebration of the ancient practice that brings balance, strength, and inner peace to so many.

While the Northern Hemisphere marks the summer solstice, here in the Southern Hemisphere we embrace the winter solstice — the longest night of the year, a time to turn inward, reflect, and restore.

Yoga beautifully aligns with the energy of winter — inviting us to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what matters most.

🌿 Nourish & Reconnect Retreat | Winter 2025 ❄️

What a heart-opening weekend…
Our time together at Moondyne Country Centre was more than just a yoga retreat — it was a gentle pause, a space to reconnect with nature, and with ourselves.

As the first retreat I’ve organised and facilitated on my own, I feel incredibly humbled and grateful. The participants trust — not only in the process, but also in me — means more than I can say. The warmth, openness, and beautiful energy each of them brought made this experience so special.💛

A heartfelt thank you to my dear friend and colleague Michelle, https://www.facebook.com/michellefoxyoga who brought so much care, skill and presence to the retreat — as our sound healer, self-care massage therapist, and restorative yoga guide, as well as a fun and supportive member of the group. Your help was truly invaluable. 💛

And what a gift it was to welcome Paul from Akwaaba Drumming, https://www.facebook.com/akwaaba.african.drumming.art.craft whose vibrant, joy-filled drumming session had us smiling, laughing and moving with such energy that our faces ached from happiness! 🪘✨

To everyone who came — thank you for creating this space together. You made it magic.

Classes as usual this week: Monday 14 April to Thursday 17 April

No classes: Friday 18 April, Saturday 19 April & Monday 20 April (Easter break)

Classes as usual from Tuesday 21 April, including Friday 25 April (Anzac Day)

Yoga Continues While I'm Away
I'll be taking a personal break from Friday 25 April to Tuesday 6 May (inclusive) for a little road trip up the coast to Kalbarri for some nature, rest and inspiration for the soul!
During this time, I'm delighted and very grateful to share that our yoga classes will continue, thanks to four wonderful relief teachers: Tonia, Vicki, Jaimie and Belinda. Each brings their own unique style and energy to the mat, and I'm sure you'll enjoying practicing with them while I'm away. It's a lovely opportunity to experience something new and deepen your practice with fresh perspectives.

As always, thank you for your presence, support and commitment to your wellbeing. If you have any questions about the classes or retreats please feel free to reach out.

Hello Yoga Community! I've just sent out an email newsletter with some changes to create a simpler and more consistent experience for everyone at class.
What’s Changing?
🔹 All classes will now be 65 minutes – This offers a balance between the previous 60- and 75-minute formats while still allowing at least 10 minutes for guided meditation.
🔹 A simplified pricing structure to ensure fairness and consistency.
🔹 For some, this will mean a slight price increase, while for others, it will be a small decrease—but overall, I hope it will make things more straightforward and easy to follow.
New Class Pricing:
Casual class: $18 | Concession rate: $15
5-Class Pass: $78 | Concession 5-Class Pass: $68
10-Class Pass: $155 | Concession 10-Class Pass: $135
*Concession rates are available to seniors (65+), pensioners, carers, and full-time students.
Weekly Unlimited: $28 (unchanged)
Monthly Unlimited: $112 (unchanged)
(Great value for regular students – if you attend 3 or more classes per week, these weekly and monthly passes give you the most for your money!)
2nd class in the same week: $10
3rd class in the same week: $5
Why the Change?
These adjustments ensure that all classes provide ample time for movement, breathwork, and relaxation while also making payments and passes easier to manage.
Support for Those in Need
I understand that the rising cost of living can be challenging, and I never want financial difficulties to be a barrier to your yoga practice. If you’re finding it difficult to afford classes at this time, please reach out to me privately—I’m always happy to find a way to support you so you can continue to enjoy the benefits of yoga.

Our Story

YOGA and MEDITATION Flex your body, relax your mind and make some time for YOU!

“Flex, tone and relax” are general classes of mindful movement, breathing techniques (pranayama) and conclude with a 15 minute guided relaxing meditation.

Monthly meditation classes, Sound Healing and Yoga in Nature Retreats, see website or Facebook event page for details.

School and workplace classes are also available, contact Bettina for details. Beginners are welcome anytime in the term. No yoga or meditation experience or level of fitness is required as options are given for all levels and encouragement to listen to your body and modify if applicable. Your first trial class is $10- at a 75 min class or $7- at a 1 hour class
