Mat exercises for shoulder health 💪

Give these shoulder exercises a go throughout the working day to help with shoulder strength and mobility.

1. Prone Y T W: great exercise for our postural muscles and shoulders (rotator cuff) to strengthen and open up around the chest. Great exercise especially if you work at a desk!!
2. Quadruped: helps with shoulder stability, range as well as core control and hip extension. Try and keep your balance and hips square as you go through the movement.
3. Prone S-wave: challenging exercise for full shoulder range and strength. Helps with improving shoulder mobility and strength in this range.

Our most popular prescribed exercises this week:

1. Big toe stretch. Best used to help improve rises height
2. The aeroplane exercise to help build balance and core coordination needed for pre pointe
3. Sensory golf ball under the toes to help toe control.
4. Seated rises in parallel to improve technique and bring awareness to toe and ankle activity.
