March is the month to raise awareness for Developmental Disabilities 🖐

Developmental disabilities include ASD, CP, ADHD, Down’s syndrome, intellectual disabilities and many more. The main goal within raising awareness is centred around combating ableist stereotypes and persistent health disparities.

🗣 Ableism is the belief that people with disabilities are not capable of the same things that people without disabilities are capable of, this leads to inequalities in social, health, and access.
