A little male scarlet honeyeater, whome I don’t think I have seen at the garden before (mostly there are lots of wrens, finches, willywags that hang around reguarly), and this very handsome little bird was fluttering around inside the encolsed garden structure and couldnt find his way back out.
After trying to usher him out with not much success, and after a couple of attempts, I was able to gently put both of my hands around him, and with his little head popping out between my thumbs, I carried him outside and he flew away high into the trees.
Nature is so beautiful and heart warming 🥹🩷🥲
