This amazing young human is currently raising money to help prevent youth su***de. She’s chosen to do this off her own back. In fact she hassled me to sign her up.

She started out with 10km & $500 goals. Then she realised 10km was easy & she could do better.

So, tonight she will hit her 20km & she’s got just over $400 to reach her $2000 goal.

She’s a swimmer. She trains. She knows first hand how much that swimming can improve your mental heath. This swimming gig is not easy & at 10yrs old, sometimes I think she has more get up & go drive than me. But she keeps turning up.

Lou would love to smash her $2000 target. So if you’re looking to support a good cause & can spare a few dollars. Consider supporting youth su***de.

This chick is head strong & independent. But she’s also my anxious & nervous kid.

She’s worked so hard over the last 2years to take control of her emotional out bursts & her fear of not being perfect.

Today she competed in her first gymnastics competition & she placed 5th overall in level one. Such an achievement. She knows there are areas for improvement. But is super proud of herself for getting in, having a go & giving it her best.

& to celebrate, she practiced hand stands at the beach.
