Looking forward to working back in my old hood and currently available to take on new clients 🙏

Join us as we welcome Anna Davies back into the RIH family.

Anna is a Psychologist and a Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga Teacher.

Anna will be offering Telehealth appointments from RIH as of Monday November 11th.

Anna’s aim is to support people to find greater understanding, acceptance and kindness towards themselves as they navigate the inevitable ups and downs of life!

Anna’s work is strongly influenced by principles of mindfulness, self compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Buddhist Psychology, Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Psychology, Positive Psychology and Emotion Focused Therapy.

It is through these approaches Anna is able to work collaboratively with individuals to shift old patterns that are no longer serving them and create new pathways of being that support greater health and wellbeing.

Anna also offers a weekly Meditation Circle on Tuesday evenings (all levels of experience are welcome)

It is such a delight to be offering this weekly Meditation Circle at Ranges Integrative Health Selby each Tuesday evening.

Over this last few months we have been growing a beautiful little community of meditators all from different backgrounds, different experience levels.

It's been truly lovely to have the opportunity to sit with others and practice the beautiful qualities of openness, curiosity and kindness through mindfulness meditation. It is a real joy to practice with others in this safe, supportive, nurturing and community spirited environment.

Tomorrow night's meditation will be on the theme of Self-Compassion.

How do you tend to treat yourself when you're having a hard time? With kindness or with judgment? Most of us tend to lean towards self judgment when dealing with difficulty. It's kind of a hangover from our evolutionary past. In caveman times, in order to survive, it was more important for us to be critical than kind in times of stress. This ties into our sympathetic nervous system response to support us to either fight or flee whatever threat may have been present.

For most of us, self kindness does not come naturally. While we may easily and naturally respond to others with kindness and compassion, many of us need a bit of gentle guidance and practice to do this for ourselves.

I love self compassion practices and enjoy the soothing, calming benefits of learning to befriend myself and all my human experiences.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night's session Tuesday 6:30-7:30pm at Ranges Integrative Health in Selby.
