Yesterday, we brought Thai flavors into the kitchen!

We prepared extra garlic, onions, and chili separately so participants could choose their preferred level of spice for their own palate. The Thai beef salad was a great success.

In between cooking, we also made additional garlands for our Christmas party. In the afternoon, we prepared our first Choc Ripple Cake with homemade whipped cream.

It was all about taking our time and enjoying the decorating process—very easy, very festive, and it definitely made us feel more Christmassy.

Don’t forget, next Monday 22/12, we will be holding our Christmas party from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Come joyful and ready to celebrate! There will be great company, music, dancing, delicious food, and a few surprises.

Our cooking class will return in 2026 on Monday, 5 January.

On Monday 08/12, our cooking group prepared a beef curry using Taj Mahal Medium Curry Powder – it was amazing, and the delicious aroma filled the space!

We also continued getting ready for our Christmas party with natural decorations and some fun surprises.

In the afternoon, participants indulged their sweet tooth by making crêpes, French-style pancakes. Well done to everyone for flipping them so perfectly!

See you next week for a Thai beef salad and more sweet treats in the afternoon.

Let’s Get Creative, Wild & Excited with Aaquila Care!

We are delighted to announce a dynamic month of adventure, creativity, connection, and meaningful engagement for our participants this January. Our carefully curated program reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred experiences aligned with NDIS goals and each individual’s chosen pathway.

Across the month, participants will enjoy a diverse suite of activities—from cooking workshops and arts-and-crafts innovation, to outdoor experiences and community outings. Each session has been thoughtfully designed to build life skills, foster social connection, and promote wellbeing in a supportive environment.

✔️ Perth Zoo excursion
✔️ Hyde Park Water Playground

💲 Activities marked with a dollar sign may incur an additional cost; all other activities are covered within the participant’s NDIS plan under their approved activity group.

We had such a blast on Monday, 1st December!

We celebrated International Day of People with Disability with a lovely morning tea, sharing stories and making natural wreaths—perfect for our Christmas party on Monday, 22nd December.

Collecting natural wreath materials and wood sticks is so easy during your walk, and it makes a lovely target for your fitness activity. The results were stunning, and the smell of oranges was amazing!

The cooking class had so much fun making a fancy Caesar salad. Who said we need to spend hours in the kitchen to make something pretty? It looked fantastic and tasted even better.

Make it a date with us next week when we’ll be cooking beef curry in the morning and French pancakes in the afternoon for a sweet treat.

Don’t forget to book in advance and cancel on time—we apply a 2 full business day cancellation policy.
