As of Wednesday July 1st, Advanced Deep Tissue will be moving to 238 Epsom Avenue, Belmont. A soft launch alongside my brother Adam Johnston (Physiotherapist / Director) of the new WLC Medical Clinic. Very much looking forward to working within a professional establishment once again, as well all the perks that come with it. ie, more parking, a waiting room, the little things. I look forward to aiding you all once again at the new premises. Stay safe and thanks again to you all, for helping me do what i do best.

WA COVID-19 Update:

Over the Easter weekend we received clarification that members in WA are permitted to provide professional services at this time. This information was provided by the WA Police Force Liaison for the COVID-19 Response.

If for any reason you are approached by Police or any other authority and instructed to close your practice, please provide a copy of the below statement to that authority.

We also strongly encourage you to please complete the Australian Government COVID-19 Infection Control Training, if you haven’t already. Click here for more information.

Notification of clarification of the ruling in WA and those that have occurred in other states have been achieved as a result of the efforts of the Combined Association initiative between ANTA, Myotherapy Association Australia, Australian Traditional Medicine Society and Massage & Myotherapy Australia. We thank you for continuing to support the work that your association is doing at this time, and stay united as a community of health care providers.

In Western Australia, massages that are provided through professional services like physiotherapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists are not currently prohibited by the Closure and Restriction (Limit the Spread) Directions made by the State Emergency Coordinator on 7 April 2020.

Hi all, has been quite a while since I posted anything on this page. Just wanted to let anyone and everyone know, as of Dec 10th, I will be working Sunday mornings from 7am to 10am. The plan is to cut back 1hr each other day, to save these old bones and get a few more years out of me. Thanks as always to everyone out there supporting me. I am truly blessed to be able to work in this industry, that rewards me in new ways everyday. Thanks again everyone

Good afternoon all, thank you to my great mate and client Matthew Cowie for the ALS Ice bucket challenge nomination. I was all but ready to dump a bucket of ice over my head and donate a few dollars. It later then dawned on me what I do for a living. To all people who follow this page, what I wish to do is donate $150 worth of my time as a Remedial Therapist to anyone who has a friend or family member who has ALS. Its a 1st in best dressed deal I'm afraid. Being in this field, I understand the huge muscular aches and pains that go with this terrible condition. Happy long weekend to all you hard working, tax paying, snooze button pressing good people. Work is as busy as ever and the mornings are that much colder and darker. Just wanted to say hi to all you awesome people that support me and that I am about to to buy a whole new set of A1 Super Platinum fluffy new towels for winter.
