Program Spotlight | RediGO

RediGO by RediMed is an innovative program using evidence-based practices that integrates psychosocial screening with medical treatment to deliver timely early intervention.

Rather than waiting for problems to occur, RediGO proactively screens injured workers in their first medical appointment to identify specific psychosocial factors that could impact their recovery. Once the barriers are recognised, tailored intervention pathways are created so practitioners can provide targeted treatment to address the workers risk profile.

Since its launch, we have seen significant decline in the psychosocial status of workers who don’t proceed with recommendations, whilst those who engage with our suggested interventions have shown consistent improvements. ❗IMPORTANT UPDATE!

As we continue to prepare for cyclone Alfred in Southeast QLD, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, patients and staff is our highest priority.

As such, RediMed’s Brisbane Airport & Spring Hill clinics will be CLOSED tomorrow, Thursday 6th March and Friday 7th of March for ALL in-clinic appointments and services.

We will continue to closely monitor the weather conditions across the weekend, with the plan to reopen on Monday 10th March.

Our national 24/7 Telehealth service will continue to operate during this time.

What an exciting few days we had at MERC (Mining Emergency Response Competition) on the weekend!

Emma Jones manned our booth where we had "Spot The Injury", the operation boardgame and a spin the wheel where we handed out lots of goodies!

The event was buzzing with activity across the entire weekend as we all watched our emergency personnel show us what they do best. It was great to chat to lots of people and families and it was topped off with Bianca McKay (Head of Customer, Telehealth & Early Intervention) and Travis King (Team Leader - Exercise Rehabilitation) presenting the RediMed sponsored award for "Overall First Aid" to the deserving winner Northern Star Global!

The event provided opportunity for new levels of collaboration and partnership between all first responders. Thank you to MERC for putting on such a fun and engaging event!

As we head towards the holiday season, we are very proud to be supporting Share the Dignity's Christmas campaign . 💗

This incredible charity works tirelessly to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, domestic violence or doing it tough. Their campaign is designed to brighten the holiday season for someone in need by filling a bag with life's essentials.

Through a coordinated effort in every RediMed clinic across the country, we have setup a giving station with 3 large cardboard boxes to collect as many donations of essential items as possible. We have the bags at the ready, we just need your help to fill them with donations! 🛍️

Between now and the 28th November, if you or your workers are heading into one of our clinics, please have a quick look around home for any unused, unopened products that are on the essentials lists, or simply bring in new items and drop them off into the designated box for an Adult, Teen or Mum & Bub.

It's the simple essentials we may take for granted that will make a difference like shampoo, soaps, deoderant, wipes, baby products etc. Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter for vulnerable women and girls in our communities.

⚠️ Happy National !

October is a really important month to shine the light on prioritising workplace health and safety.

The campaign theme this year is "Safety is everyone’s business". As the saying goes, it takes a coordinated effort to ensure the responsibility of proactive safe work practices sits with everyone.

Safe Work Australia have chosen 4 different campaign themes for this month, with week 1 focusing on WHS fundamentals.

• Week 1 – WHS fundamentals
• Week 2 – Psychosocial hazards
• Week 3 – Risk management fundamentals
• Week 4 – Musculoskeletal injuries

As an end-to-end provider of workplace health solutions including injury prevention strategies & treatment, we see injuries happen too often that could have potentially be avoided had the necessary risk management procedures and WHS controls been in place.

If you see something not quite right, or are made aware of something at work that could injure someone or make them sick - it's your responsibility to report it!
