Today marks 5 incredible years of Pivotal Occupational Therapy!

Being recognised in the category of Allied Health is an incredible honour, especially as a small business navigating the evolving healthcare landscape.

Like many small businesses, we’ve faced our share of challenges—especially in recent times with staffing shortages, funding changes, and increased demand for quality care. That’s why this acknowledgment means so much. It celebrates the dedication of our hardworking team and our ongoing commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and community. 💙

Thank you to our wonderful clients, fellow service providers, peers, colleagues and community who continue to believe in what we do. We’re proud to be doing purposeful work in the allied health space in Bendigo and Central Victoria, and this recognition is a reflection of the heart we put into it every day.

Last week, we were honoured to attend an award presentation at La Trobe University on Tuesday 6th May, for the presentation of the award "Most outstanding performance in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) course". Pivotal OT is the proud sponsor of this award for the winning student from the Class of 2024.

Congratulations to Lily Wynne, this year’s deserving recipient! 🏆✨

A small afternoon tea was held in Lily’s honour, joined by Pivotal OT's Senior OT and Managing Director, Lisa, along with members of the La Trobe University Occupational Therapy teaching team. Lily was recognised for her excellence in her studies and has now embarked on her graduate year with Bendigo Health through their rotation program.

As part of her award, Lily will receive 12 months of 1:1 monthly mentoring and coaching with Lisa focusing on professional identity, leadership, communication, resilience and career development, supporting her journey and shaping her future as a confident and capable occupational therapist. 💼🧠

🌺 ANZAC Day Closure 🌺

Pivotal Occupational Therapy will be closed on Friday, April 25 in honour of ANZAC Day.
We take this time to remember and pay our respects to the brave men and women who served and sacrificed for our country 🇦🇺🕊️

Normal hours will resume on Monday, April 28.

We have had a busy and exciting 2024 and looking forward to an even better 2025 which will include some exciting announcements, so stay tuned for more details in the new year!

We will be taking a well-deserved break and will closed for the Christmas holiday season from Thursday, December 19, 2024, reopening on Monday, January 6, 2025.

The Allan Labor Government has announced a new round of Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Student (SPOTS) Grants to assist students moving to regional Victoria. Grants of up to $15,000 are available to help with relocation and accommodation costs for domestic and international students preparing for a career in these fields.
