“And the best bit, it’s only 20 minutes to get home from here!”

I think Victoria’s chocolate brownies were among the best bit.

Witnessing screams released into the earth was also pretty bloody good. Sixteen of us chanting mantra.

Gawd, it’s so easy to take for granted how spoiled for choice we are around here in Castlemaine, Bendigo and Daylesford Macedon Ranges.

I’ve even had ‘competitors’ pull down my posters, desperate to get their wares eyeballed instead. 'Pick me, pick me!' energies.

But there are people further afield who have to travel for yonks just to get an introduction to this stuff.

Who’ve not even heard of sound healing.

Big love and thank you to Victoria for inviting me up again so folks around Boort, Wedderburn and Wycheproof could experience a dose of nourishment close to home.

Victoria loves sharing experiences and wellbeing wisdom with others.

I’m truly grateful for your easeful connection, natural yoga style, and the heartfelt encouragement that prompted so many locals to feel confident enough to say ‘yes’ and join us today.

Aw, she's a good egg is Victoria Grounded by Nature.

And, gold stars to her kids for giving the hall a few personal touch welcome vibes.

We all went back to school at the old Mysia War Memorial School Hall to unlearn a few things. To remember how to reconnect, through yoga, sound and circle.

I got a jolly good road trip. Yep, that and brownies. Plus the good company of everyone who came along today.

The cosy, quiet Nook of Neale St is happening nicely. All Bendigo groups, 1:1 treatments and beloved couples sessions are now happening here on Wednesdays and Saturdays (week on, week off).

I've also got a six session fortnightly series coming up for unpaid carers, which is supported by genU. We start on 20 August, so get in touch if you'd like to register (I can connect you to the organisation for booking).

Compass Retreat is three months away today. No pressure, but that gives you two months to join this little community.

Yesterday, Bec Awaken Yoga Studio and I ran two Sunday Soothes. In between we cemented plans for our new Sacred Symphony retreat next May.

That’s a seven days deep dive into kundalini kriya and sound, working with a beautiful practice of seven mantras.

We’ve already had three Compass alumni book in for this before we’ve even finalised details (more to come)!

Anyway, we were prompted yesterday to get really clear on who we’re calling in for each retreat – what stage of life and experience someone would be at to get the most out of an offering.

Compass Retreat doesn’t require any yoga or sound healing experience.

The 48-hour program builds on our Sunday Soothe sequence but attending is not a pre-requisite (but good to get to know who we are and how what we share lands in you).

For Compass we simply invite humans who seek wisdom to know and trust themselves as we navigate this divine human life.

Perhaps you’re curious, with a longing to explore deeper questions. Maybe you’re at a crossroads or sort of ready to dance with stuff that’s under the surface; to be present with what’s wanting to be met; to create change.

Compass is a foundational and expansive retreat program that’s beautifully interconnected and interwoven to support you in that.

We work closely with the Mul Mantra as our teacher and guide.

Movement opens the body. Breath carries your sound. Mantra chanting enhances how we receive sound meditations. Nature connection deepens elemental listening to the world and self.

This version is a midweek retreat 14-16 October.

We wanted to nab Continental House Hepburn again before the end of the year. Such a nourishing place for our unique retreat.

Big program. Small group.

Pop over to the webpage to see what past participants have to say. Book in. Or get in touch if you’re that curious person.

I like asking clients how they would explain a session, workshop or retreat experience to others. This time I asked who they reckon The Crucible was suitable for...

The Crucible is my deep dive bespoke sequence of four sound therapy sessions with at-home integration activities and a tailored metaphoric theme ($595).

Here's some more of what this recent 'graduate' had to say:

“The impact of the crucible on my life was profound. I really wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I couldn’t have imagined this."

"It helped me physically, emotionally and spiritually in ways I really wasn’t even aware that I needed.

“It’s for anyone. From people who might be getting a faint sense that something might be ‘off’ in their lives, but not be able to put their finger on why, to those who might be on a deeper longer journey.

"Nat spent the time to really get to know me and is such a natural that it really didn’t take her long. I felt really safe to share with her and felt her confidence.

"Nat checked in on me between sessions, coaching and supporting and guiding the whole time which was really fantastic and enriched the whole experience for me."

I don't really think I can add much more than that to entice you. You'll know when the time is right. In the meantime you can book a single session or come along to a group. Or book a whole delicious Compass Retreat!

June juggles aka scheduling shenanigans for Bendigo groups.

On Tuesday nights for June only (tonight and the 24th), I am merging the earlier Buffer with the 6:45pm Lighter Hearted sessions.

Welcome to the Light Hearted Buffer. We start at 5:15pm and run for 75 mins with a bit of mantra.

This Sat 14th is now cancelled for this weekend and only one spot left for the 28th June, which starts at 4pm, half an hour later than usual.

Then from July, we make the shift to the Neale St location. Resuming all standard time slots but we move from Tuesday to Wednesday nights. Clear as mud?

Mental health and Sound Therapy workshop - Wed 25 June.

Heads up to local practitioners who work with humans in ways that traverse mental health. You don't have to be a 'clinical' or specialist practitioner in the field.

The conversations at the Castlemaine Mental Health Practitioners Network bring together a diverse bunch of professionals to network with peers and to share info about the range of local resources that are available for referral.

I'll be sharing a two hour workshop on Sonic Tonic - an experiential introduction to sound therapy. There are regular insights to glean from other presenters each month. Membership is free but you do need to register with the network.

Deep listening might mean ditching the plan - to trust in the unfolding wisdom of the present moment. Knowing that this present moment will transform the future.

It was more beautiful than anything Heart of the Horse and I could have planned for yesterday’s Herd Wisdom Heard Wisdom session. But we had to surrender and allow the horses to lead, to not allow mind to override embodied intuition.

Sixteen humans led to absolute stillness. The horses will move away as a signal when their part is played; frequencies re-tuned and transmitted. Then we usually convene for arvo tea and head into the bell tent for sound meditation.

Yesterday, the equine energies kept us entranced as we sat in prolonged stillness. The instruments came out and we sat. Used our voice. Sat some more.

In circle, in nature, in resonance. Each individual in their own way, and our collective, finding coherence. Medicine beyond words, beyond the thinking brain and not to schedule.

Stillness is where the magic happens. If you listen. Regenerative energies within the void.

The horses teach us so much about how to step back from expectations and to allow the most authentic ways to emerge. Not forcing outcomes. Allowing things to fall away. Welcoming the natural intelligence that bubbles up. Integrated and soothed through sound.

There's a winter hiatus with these potent combo horse and sound sessions but Rachael and I will work out some spring/summer dates soon-ish.
