Insight Care Support Services is currently looking to hire Mental Health/ Disability Support Workers to work in Bendigo and surrounding areas.

We seek energetic, passionate, and highly committed individuals to be part of our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for helping individuals living with psychosocial disabilities to participate and engage in social and community activities.
In this role, you will:
Support and assist participants in achieving their goals and needs in relation to the approved NDIS plan.
Offer support to participants and assist them in participating in all lifestyle activities of their choice, meeting daily living needs, and attaining better social participation in their community.
Deliver high-quality, person-centred services to meet the needs of participants, including domestic assistance, meal prep, personal care, gardening, cleaning and other activities of daily living.
Selection Criteria:
Cert IV Disability and/or Mental Health and/or relevant experience
Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Current full Drivers License & Registered Vehicle
Current Working with Children Check
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
Demonstrated understanding of a person-centred approach
Ability to follow established recovery-oriented practices
Excellent verbal, written communication skills and the ability to connect with others
Ability to follow individual support plans

Hourly Pay: $33.00-$37 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Job Type: Casual
Pay per year: $45,050.00 – $75,000.00
