Meet our Doctor

TAKING NEW PATIENTS

Dr Arzhang is a highly experienced general practitioner with over 25 years of medical practice across Iran, Dubai, and Australia. He has worked in both metropolitan and regional settings, including Melbourne and Bendigo, and has been practising in Australia since 2022.

He provides care for patients of all ages and has special interests in chronic disease management, mental health care, and minor procedures. Dr Arzhang is committed to delivering patient-centred care and building long-term, trusted relationships with his patients.

Dr Arzhang is fluent in English, Persian (Farsi), Turkish, Arabic, and Urdu, which enables him to effectively support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Outside of work, he enjoys family life with his wife, a specialist anaesthetist, and their young daughter.

Which Skin Check is Right for You?

At Somerville Street Clinic, we offer the following skin check options:

1. Spot Check (1–3 spots)
Ideal if you have just a few specific spots you're concerned about.

2. Full Body Skin Check
A comprehensive check of your entire skin to detect early signs of skin cancer. Recommended annually for most adults.

3. Mole Mapping
A detailed photographic record of your moles to monitor changes over time. Best for people with many moles or a history of skin cancer.

Our trained Skin Cancer Nurses are conducting Spot Checks, Full Body Skin Checks, and Mole Mapping.
Please note: These services are not eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Still prefer a Medicare-rebated appointment?
