"I just want to express my heartfelt thanks for everything you’ve created and so generously share through The Barre Society. Over the past four months, attending your classes has helped me reconnect with parts of myself I’d lost touch with. Your studio has become a sanctuary—a space where I feel safe to let go, move through stress, and gently release emotions I’ve carried for far too long.

What makes this place so special is all you—the beautiful team. Your care, warmth, and genuine presence make such a difference. From the moment I step through the door, I feel supported and welcomed, no matter how I’m arriving that day. You’ve all created an environment that allows people not just to work out, but to truly heal, grow, and feel more at home in their own bodies.

The combination of Pilates, yoga, and strength training is helping me build not just physical strength, but a deeper sense of confidence and calm. I already notice shifts in how I move, how I carry myself, and how I feel inside—and I’m excited to see where this journey continues to lead.

Thank you, Laura, everyone at the studio, for being part of such a meaningful transformation. I’m incredibly grateful for the space you hold, the care you offer, and the way you help people become more of who they truly are.

OUR MOVES ARE NOT TRADITIONAL⁠

If you want a tight, lean, trim body, you need to leave behind the repetitive, damaging, linear movements, and let us teach your body structure to move in angles instead of straight lines. ⁠

By angles, we mean on the diagonal, forward, back, in all directions instead of the more linear up, down up, of a standard bicep curl. ⁠

This is how we wake up your accessory muscles, the very important ones that nobody pays attention to, and use them to hold the larger muscle groups together. ⁠

By guiding your body through strategic muscle exhaustion, tiring out all your big muscles so your smaller accessory muscles can activate and strengthen, we can pull your muscles together to create definition and strength - giving you a healthy, gorgeous body.

Meet Amy 😍

"My favourite thing about barre society are the Rise classes! I love how I can bring my kids along and have them right there beside me, there's not a lot of places in Bendigo that allow that once they're crawling. I love that not only am I getting a workout in, but I'm also showing my kids the importance of exercise and to also enjoy it!
I also love that it's such a warm and welcoming environment, and everyone is so friendly and supportive.

Since starting regular classes I am feeling less achy, especially in my lower back. I feel stronger and I have noticed a boost in my mood, energy and motivation, especially on the days I exercise!

Before I had children I did more high impact exercise. I love how Pilates is more gentle on my joints whilst also being effective."

Meet Nicole 🤩⁠⁠

"I decided to try barre because I wanted to find a form of exercising that was effective at building strength and tone but was gentle and fun enough to keep me motivated. That’s exactly what I found at Barre Society.⁠

I had never found a form of exercise that I stuck with for more than a few months but I have now been involved with barre for over 2 years!⁠

Barre as method of exercise is so effective, I have been amazed by what my body can do. But most of all I love the community of women, in particular the instructors who are so inspiring, welcoming and supportive. I’m sure I will be involved with Barre Society for many years to come :)" xx⁠
