We're proud to sponsor the award, and thrilled to invite Tricia to experience a placement in our Alcohol and Other Drugs Wellbeing team.

Situation:
Heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding is forecast for central areas of the state on Tuesday. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 40 to 70 mm are possible. Conditions are expected to ease during Wednesday morning.

Separate Flood Watches and/or Warnings may be current at the time of issue. Please refer to https://www.bom.gov.au/weather-and-climate/warnings-and-alerts/ for more information.

What you should do:
The Victoria State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* If driving conditions are dangerous, safely pull over away from trees, drains, low-lying areas and floodwater. Avoid travel if possible.
* Stay safe by avoiding dangerous hazards, such as floodwater, mud, debris, damaged roads and fallen trees.
* Be aware - heat, fire or recent storms may make trees unstable and more likely to fall when it's windy or wet.
* Check that loose items, such as outdoor settings, umbrellas and trampolines are safely secured. Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
* Stay indoors and away from windows.
* If outdoors, move to a safe place indoors. Stay away from trees, drains, gutters, creeks and waterways.
* Stay away from fallen powerlines - always assume they are live.
* Be aware that in fire affected areas, rainfall run-off into waterways may contain debris such as ash, soil, trees and rocks. Heavy rainfall may also increase the potential for landslides and debris across roads.
* Stay informed: Monitor weather warnings, forecasts and river levels at the Bureau of Meteorology website, and warnings through VicEmergency website/app/hotline.

The next Severe Weather Warning will be issued by 5:00 am AEDT Tuesday.

More fun photos from Sunday's Spring Gully Dance, where a whopping $3,000 was raised for our Alcohol & Drugs service.

This contribution will support people through some of the most challenging times of their lives. Whether someone is taking their first brave steps toward recovery, or working through the complexities of their mental health, they do so knowing their community stands behind them.

"Also, it was truly a lovely afternoon," said our Mental Health/AOD Operations Manager Cilla.

"This group is the epitome of community."

Yep, we're big fans!

This is community in action. Or, should we say, in full swing! 🎶

Thank you Spring Gully Dance for the mammoth effort in raising more than $3k for our alcohol and drugs services. Wow.

You have made a difference, and we are immensely grateful.

Our AOD superstars Cilla and Carlotta had a great time on Sunday scuffing up the Spring Gully Hall floors to the Family Rhythm Dance Band (and accepting the lovely donation).

Also, check out the supper! These beautiful people know how to bring a plate.
