Please note at the families request the service will not be livestreamed.

A Celebration of Thom's life will be held at the Ulumbarra Theatre, 10 Gaol Road, Bendigo, on FRIDAY 24th October from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Media arrangements
Thom Hosking memorial service
Friends and family of Thom Hosking will be gathering for a memorial service at Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre at 10am on Friday, October 24, 2025, following the tragic events of October 10.

The Hosking family understands there may be media interest in the service, but asks media to understand this remains a time of profound sorrow for Thom’s family and friends, many of
whom are minors. If there is media interest in the service, we have the following requests:

● We request media representatives do not physically enter the Ulumbarra Theatre during or after the service.
● No photos or footage to be used in which anyone aged under-18 can be identified.
● No mourners to be approached outside the service.

We would appreciate it if any media planning to attend or cover the funeral register their interest by emailing the address provided below.
After the service, the media who’ve registered will be provided with some comments about Thom and the service.

We thank those media who have respectfully reported on Thom’s passing and used the photo we provided on October 13. This remains the only photo of Thom we would like used by media at this time.

The Hosking family will not be commenting further on Thom’s tragic death.
