A vulnerable post but such a happy and important one. Living with cerebral palsy, my muscles don’t always do what I want them to do, and therefore I often spill liquid or food on my tops when I eat or drink. When I’m drinking and eating out in public, I can receive a lot of stares, looks of uncertainty (where to look) and disgust. This can make me feel anxious and segregated from others, it is super isolating at times, even if I’m with someone. Not to mention the health risks. I started creating my own absorbent scarfs to keep my clothes clean and dry, but liquid still seeps into my tops and often stains them permanently. With this in mind, I noticed that made a spill proof tank top, so I decided to buy one to try and it’s the greatest. I tried the repel-tek tank top with a cup of iced tea and not one spill or mark (see the pictures above). I’m so impressed, I definitely want more.

Well, that’s another weekend of study complete. I’m feeling proud of myself and excited to see where this addition leads me. I’m grateful to Jayne from Crusoeden Body who taught us. Looking forward to having a recoup now though
