Ever tried Dry Needling? Dry Needling involves inserting fine needles into myofacial trigger points (MTP). MTP are overused muscles that develop ‘knots’ that cause referred pain, tenderness, poor muscle tissue and poor nerve function. Inserting a needle into these points elicit a twitch response in the tissue which may re-set the chemical imbalance between muscle and nerves. Our aim is to decrease muscle tension and increase blood and nerve supply.
Great for range of musculoskeletal conditions including elbow pain, shoulder injury, tension in your traps, calf strain, gluteal pain, tight hamstrings, shin splints.
