The Bendigo Occupational Therapy Student Association (BOTSA), aims to connect fellow OT students in affiliation with the La Trobe Student Association (LTSA)

The Bendigo Occupational Therapy Student Association (BOTSA), was created to enhance OT student life on the Bendigo campus, connecting new students with old allowing for networking to occur. BOTSA is run in affiliation with the Bendigo Student Association (BSA), who aim to "make student life better". This strong affiliation that we have ensures that we may run events that YOU want and allow you to immerse yourself in the University and occupational therapy culture. You have probably seen all of the media and emails around the meeting to vote on the resolution of the LTSA. But, if you're anything like us, you might be confused about what that means.
If the LTSA is shut down- our ball is cancelled, our funds are lost and no refunds will be able to be issued. We will cease to exist as a club and will be unable to support you, our members, or offer any social events for the years to come.

We encourage you all to register to attend the meeting and vote against the motion to shut down the LTSA. The instructions are listed below:
1. Make sure you are an LTSA member and if you aren’t, you can join for free (ltsa.com.au/Products/340)

2. Register to attend the meeting (ltsa.com.au/Forms/145) or assign a proxy on your behalf (details can be found on the LTSA website)

3. Attend the meeting on Friday 15th October at 2pm and vote against closing the LTSA - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85118869125

With the release of the roadmap, we have been able to reschedule our OT Ball for November 17th! Make sure you get double vaxxed so we hit the targets in time- and we do our part for the community! More details to come
