Are you struggling to get a decent night’s sleep during the lockdown? 🥱You may be feeling tired but find it hard to fall asleep. Maybe you’re waking up frequently during the night, and worrying about the current situation? Perhaps you’ve even started experiencing strange and vivid dreams when you do fall asleep?

During times of uncertainty, it’s common to have some disruption to your normal sleep pattern. Feeling more worried and stressed makes it hard to switch off, and can affect both the amount and quality of sleep you get.

Getting regular, good quality sleep is very important for your health, both physically and mentally, and helps you to cope better with difficulties that come your way. 💤 Scroll for some tips to help you sleep 🛌

I’m so excited that my new .k journals arrived today! 📔

Research shows that expressing gratitude (being thankful for people and situations) can improve your physical and mental health. So, keeping a gratitude journal can be a huge boost for your well-being.

Lockdown can be very tough and a good time to start practicing gratitude journaling. I’m grateful for the sun shining today and the fact that I have home made apple cake in my fridge for dessert tonight 😁 What are you grateful for today? 💛

Research has shown that just patting a pet can ease stress and reduce your blood pressure. Pets also can provide companionship, fulfil the human need to touch, and provide a sense of purpose. 🐈

I wanted to inform you all of the ✨Mental Health Treatment Plan ✨ if you are considering seeking support during this difficult time. The MHTP provides you with 20 Medicare rebatable sessions per year. This means that if you are seeing a Clinical Psychologist, you can receive $129.55 per session.
