🚨 Murrumbeena’s CFRA Shock Station®️ is here! 🚨

We’re excited to announce the launch another life-saving Shock Station®️ and CFRA Cardiac Arrest Response Team right in the heart of Murrumbeena!

When it comes to cardiac arrest, early recognition, CPR, and defibrillation can make all the difference. That’s why CFRA Shock Stations®️, integrated with Ambulance Victoria, 000 and Goodsam, are so important—they equip the community with publicly accessible defibrillators and training them to act fast and save lives. 💓

Shoutout to Sheila for her dedication in bringing this station to Murrumbeena, and to Bendigo Bank East Malvern for their generous sponsorship! 🙌

🚨 Shock Station Team®️ #45 is now live at Elwood Bathers! 🚨

Thanks to the generous support and installation by Luke Bullen from Formula Build, the 45th CFRA Shock Station®️ Team is now up and running 👏

Joining its sister Shock Station®️ at the Elwood Beach Shack at the other end of the beach, one of Melbourne’s most popular beaches is even safer 🏖️

With trained staff now part of the CFRA-Goodsam response team, Elwood Beach is better equipped to respond quickly to cardiac arrests and drownings 💚

What an absolute privilege to train another team of dedicated staff and volunteers at the City of Boroondara. This time we were spoiled to host the session at the magnificent Hawthorn Arts Centre 🙌

This was the momentous session which clicked the CFRA GoodSAM Team of Shock Savers®️ to over 2000 responders state-wide. They are all now linked in with 000 and Ambulance Victoria to give patients the best chance when experiencing a cardiac arrest 💚

Welcome to the 45th CFRA Cardiac Arrest Response Team, now active in Carrum — thanks to the incredible support of Kingston Council and our amazing hosts Laura & Chris 👏

Over tea and scones, 15 locals stepped up, training in CPR and defib for adults, female and kids using top-tier gear from Laerdal Medical.

They’re now CFRA Goodsam responders with Ambulance Victoria & 000! 💪

💚 AFL St Kilda Powering Up with Their Shock Saver®️ Team 💚

A huge thank you to the incredible staff at AFL St Kilda Football Club Team HQ for hosting an engaging and impactful first aid session! 👏

What an honour it was to train such a dedicated team, promoting confident and competent emergency response on and off the field. 🙌

Each new Shock Saver®️ is now equipped with the skills to triage medical emergencies, access the appropriate care at the right time and provide life-saving treatment 💪

With several staff members joining the CFRA Goodsam team, they are now part of the 1900-strong CFRA Volunteer Community First Responders across the state, ready to respond at a moment’s notice to cardiac arrests via 000 🤩

Rain, hail, or shine – we’re there! 🌧️☀️❤️

Last night in foggy Woori Yallock, CFRA and Heartbeat of Football teamed up to deliver lifesaving CPR/AED training and heart health checks to dozens of players and spectators 💚❤️

It was incredible to see such strong community spirit and enthusiasm for heart health awareness. 💪🫀
