3 steps most mould treatments miss.
Let’s be clear.
Mould isn’t just a surface issue.
If it keeps coming back, something in the process is being skipped.
Here’s what actually needs to happen:
Properly treat visible mould at the source.
It’s not just about removing the stain.
Mould has a root system that needs to be treated within the material.
Whether it’s walls, ceilings, timber, or concrete.
Done properly, surfaces are restored without the need for repainting in most cases.
Eliminate invisible airborne spores.
What you can’t see matters just as much.
Airborne spores can spread through the space and restart the cycle.
That’s why treatment needs to go beyond surfaces and clean the environment itself.
Use the right solution.
Not a cover-up.
Encapsulating or masking doesn’t solve the problem.
A proper treatment should be non-toxic, non-bleaching, and designed to remove contaminants without damaging surfaces or hiding odours.
This is the difference between a temporary fix and a proper remediation.
If mould keeps returning, there’s usually something missing in how it’s being treated.
