A special milestone was recently celebrated at Homestyle Sunset Views Manor, marking four years since opening in March 2022.

Residents came together to enjoy a lovely anniversary celebration filled with delicious food and cake. It was a wonderful afternoon shared with staff as everyone marked this special occasion together.

Sunset Views Manor continues to be a warm and welcoming home for residents, and we look forward to many more wonderful moments together.

Residents across Homestyle's homes came together to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. 🥞

Traditionally observed the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, it is a time often marked by enjoying pancakes as a final treat before the season of reflection. Residents embraced the tradition with classic favourites like lemon and sugar, jam and cream, taking part in a custom that has been shared for generations.

A meaningful way to honour tradition while enjoying a simple and much loved treat together. ✨

A special moment at Ferndale Gardens, resident Graham was presented with a framed letter from the Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, Mike Bush, in recognition of more than 35 years of dedicated volunteer service with Neighbourhood Watch Victoria. He was joined by his wife Gwen, children David and Trish, family members, and Neighbourhood Watch representatives for this wonderful occasion.

Since beginning with Neighbourhood Watch in 1990, Graham has played an important role in supporting community safety, writing newsletters, leading local teams, organising events, and working closely with schools and police. His work has helped keep residents informed, connected, and safe.

A humble man who never seeks the spotlight, Graham is a true role model whose commitment to serving others continues to inspire.

Children from Leopold’s Guardian Kindergarten have visited residents at Kensington Grange a few times this month! And what fun they have had! The children decorated the residents as their very own Christmas tree on one visit and enjoyed a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus on their final visit for the year. With snow, lollipops and even beautiful cards made by the children for their special friends at Kensington Grange, the connections built have been a beautiful experience for all!

Residents at Point Cook Manor were recently treated to a magical Christmas celebration! The Palm Lakes Choir visited and filled the home with festive joy, performing a beautiful selection of Christmas songs that warmed everyone’s hearts.
To make the day even more special, Mrs Claus stopped by to spend time with the residents, sharing smiles and laughter as the choir sang. Her visit added an extra touch of holiday magic and personal connection to the festivities.
It was a truly memorable occasion, leaving everyone with lasting smiles and cherished memories. Thank you to the Palm Lakes Choir and Mrs Claus for making this Christmas so wonderful!

The residents of Sunset Views Manor had a wonderful time visiting the Christmas lights at Melbourne’s Docklands! The evening was filled with joy as everyone enjoyed walking around, taking in the sparkling displays, and sharing in the festive spirit. The night was completed with a tour of the dazzling Christmas lights around Tarneit making the trip home just as memorable as the outing itself.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this special outing possible!
