Big congratulations to the talented residents of Kensington Grange for their amazing achievements at this year’s Geelong Show!

Residents entered a variety of creative pieces, from knitting and painting to group art projects—and their hard work paid off!

Irene received a “Highly Commended” for her knitted “Bluey” and took third place for her “knitted knitting bag.” June earned third place for all three of her entries: a knitted toy, a painting, and a crocheted rug. Helen won first place for her beautiful diamond art!

The residents also worked together on a group project, a tiled image of Marilyn Monroe overlooking Eastern Beach, Geelong which won second place in the “Community or Hobby Group’s Work” section.

Congratulations to everyone for their wonderful achievements. We are so proud of you all!

Creativity is in full bloom at Sea Views Manor. Residents have been getting crafty and designing their very own handmade fascinators just in time for the Spring Racing Carnival.

With feathers, flowers, and plenty of laughter, the room was buzzing with creativity as each resident added their personal touch to these stunning headpieces.

We’re very excited to show off these fabulous creations during our upcoming celebrations—stay tuned for more carnival fun and flair!

Meet Betty Dangerfield, one of the wonderful residents at Belmont Grange! At 97, Betty is still full of energy and spirit, especially when it comes to cheering on her beloved Cats and her grandson, Patrick Dangerfield.

This Saturday, Betty will be watching the big game at Belmont Grange. Her advice for the team? “Behave yourself and have fun!”

Betty’s favourite player isn’t just her grandson—she’s a huge fan of former premiership captain Joel Selwood too! If the Cats win, she’ll be cheering as Selwood presents the cup to Patrick and coach Chris Scott—a moment she believes they all deserve.

Tune into ABC News at 7.00pm tonight to see Betty getting ready to cheer on her beloved Cats.

Excitement is building at Kensington Grange as the residents gear up for the AFL Grand Final this Saturday — and Channel 9 News came by to capture the buzz!

Footy-loving Geelong Cats supporters were interviewed and proudly featured in a special story on 9 News Melbourne , sharing their team spirit, favourite memories, and tips for the big game. From decorations to footy jumpers and mascots, the whole community at is buzzing with Grand Final fever!

We had a fantastic day at the Geelong Aged Care Expo 2025, proudly hosted by Muirfield Financial Services. The expo brought together a wide range of service providers from Geelong and the Surf Coast who provided valuable information and resources related to aged care,

Residents at Kensington Grange had a truly special start to NAIDOC Week with a visit from inspiring local Palawa teenager, Bel Gee.

Bel began the morning with a heartfelt Acknowledgement of Country and took the time to explain the difference between an Acknowledgement of Country and a Welcome to Country. Residents were deeply engaged in a Q&A yarn, learning more about Bel’s strong connection to culture and community.

From playing netball for Victoria’s First Nations Team, mentoring young Indigenous surfers with Surfing Victoria, to leading as School Captain at St. Ignatius College; Bel is a shining example of leadership and pride in culture. It was an incredible morning filled with learning, connection, and celebration. Thanks Bel.

3. Fees and Charges associated with Residential Aged Care.
