Homestyle Aged Care was proud to once again support A Walk in the Park Geelong, raising awareness and funds for people living with Parkinson’s disease for Fight Parkinson's.

Held at the beautiful Geelong Botanic Gardens, the 2km walk brought the community together in support of a cause that impacts so many individuals and families.

The Homestyle team was there on the day cheering on participants and sharing in plenty of special moments along the way.

Every step helps make a difference through Parkinson’s awareness, support and connection.

We’re proud to recognise the next generation of compassionate carers through the Homestyle Aged Care Awards in partnership with Deakin University Nursing & Midwifery.

Congratulations to the 2026 award recipients:

Both students have been recognised for their excellence and dedication to supporting older people through their studies in HNN318: Care of the Older Person.

Homestyle’s Geelong homes proudly took part in the Flying Brick Cider Co Scarecrow Competition this year, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and fun!

Belmont Grange impressed with their clever “Granger Things”, earning an incredible 2nd place.
Kensington Grange reached for the stars with their “Beam Me Up Scotty” alien-inspired creation, placing 5th.
Sea Views Manor presented a striking “Miss 2026 – Mother Nature.”

A special milestone was recently celebrated at Homestyle Sunset Views Manor, marking four years since opening in March 2022.

Residents came together to enjoy a lovely anniversary celebration filled with delicious food and cake. It was a wonderful afternoon shared with staff as everyone marked this special occasion together.

Sunset Views Manor continues to be a warm and welcoming home for residents, and we look forward to many more wonderful moments together.

Residents across Homestyle's homes came together to celebrate Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. 🥞

Traditionally observed the day before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, it is a time often marked by enjoying pancakes as a final treat before the season of reflection. Residents embraced the tradition with classic favourites like lemon and sugar, jam and cream, taking part in a custom that has been shared for generations.

A meaningful way to honour tradition while enjoying a simple and much loved treat together. ✨
