A PhD student at Curtin University is looking for five young adults (18 - 25 years old) to form a Community Advisory Group to assist with a project looking at how social connection impacts mental health during emerging adulthood.

The Cardiology Department at Royal Perth Hospital have launched an “Acute Coronary Syndrome Priority Setting Partnership” to be conducted throughout 2025.

They are asking people who have a lived experience of heart attacks, their families and friends, as well as healthcare professionals who look after heart attack patients, to help by identifying the top ten questions that they want answered by heart research.

A PhD student at Curtin University is developing a psychological intervention framework for parents of adolescents (aged 12 to 18 years) with ADHD and/or autism in addition to mental health concerns such as depression and/or anxiety. The study aims to understand the gaps in support and inform the development of a framework for psychological interventions.

đź’¬ The researcher would like to form a Community Advisory Group (CAG) involving 3-4 people. Activities may include providing a lived experience lens on the study, advising on recruitment strategies, giving feedback on interview, and survey questions, and communicating findings.
â—˝ You must be the parent or carer of an adolescent person (aged 12 to 18 years), who has been diagnosed with ADHD and/or autism and has a co-occurring mental health condition such as depression or anxiety.
â—˝Commitment of 4 CAG meetings over the next 2 years
â—˝ You will be paid for your time

The Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group is recruiting new consumers and carers for its Community Advisory Council

If you are a consumer or carer who is passionate about improving health outcomes for the community, applications are now open to join our Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group Community Advisory Council (CAC).

The CAC ensures the voices and perspectives of patients, carers, families and community are represented in discussions and decision-making processes.

The group is seeking members with a fresh perspective who have recent lived experience over the past five years, either as a consumer or a carer, who have utilised Sir Charles Gairdner or Osborne Park Hospital services.
