🎉That's a wrap for 2025 Telethon7 Perth Family Festival!

💜 Over the massive weekend, WA raised an incredible record breaking $90 million!

We feel so grateful to be a part of the event! 🙌 Our stall was buzzing with families exploring our mystery sensory boxes, giveaways, and leaving with lots of smiles. A huge thank you to our volunteers for supporting yet another successful event, and to everyone who stopped by our stall and supported Telethon.

🤝 Join the NDIS WA Community Advisory Council

The WA Government and Minister for Disability Services are inviting families, carers, and people with disability to express their interest in joining the new NDIS WA Community Advisory Council.

The Council will give people with lived experience, advocacy groups, and sector representatives a direct voice in advising the Minister, ensuring the NDIS works effectively for all Western Australians. Members will serve a three year term from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2028.

Expressions of interest close 5pm, Monday 13 October 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.

💭 Share your thoughts on Thriving Kids Program

The Thriving Kids program is a new national initiative set to begin on 1 July 2026. It aims to deliver early supports for children with Autism and developmental delay outside of the NDIS, creating another pathway for families to access therapies and support services.

To guide the process, the Minister for Health and Ageing, the Hon Mark Butler MP, has asked for feedback through a national Inquiry.

Your feedback will help the Committee develop conclusions and recommendations for its upcoming report. The survey closes Friday, 10 October 2025.

Our teams of experienced therapists and support staff deliver evidence-based therapy to nearly 5,000 people of all ages and abilities throughout the state. Our comprehensive services are tailored to meet the needs of each individual and are delivered when and where people need them most. With more than 20 office locations throughout the wider Perth metropolitan area and in regional areas such as the South West and Kimberly, support is never far away.

Since establishment as a not-for-profit organisation in 1998, Therapy Focus has grown to employ more than 300 staff including allied health certified speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers and dietitians. Behaviour Support Clinicians are also employed as part of our therapy teams, whilst registered nurses and continence clinicians make up our specialist continence team, PEBBLES.

Therapy Focus is a contracted service provider for the WA State Government’s Disability Services and a registered provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Services can also be purchased privately and health rebates may apply.
