Run club is on the rise, so it's the perfect time to unskill 🏃‍♀️

In this course, Christian will give you the skills and knowledge to diagnose and manage biomechanical deficits in injured runners. The course explores ideal lower limb biomechanics, provides an overview of how common biomechanical faults link to injury, and how to identify and address them in the clinic. The evidence behind and practical application of running retraining, exercise, footwear and other adjunctive interventions are explored in relation to both injury and performance.

Meet Daniel — a new face on our Sport Committee!

Dan brings over a decade of experience across physio, strength & conditioning, GPS & workload analysis, and sports training. He’s worked with athletes from local footy clubs all the way to US collegiate teams.

Previously, Dan led the health team for AFL umpires in WA and directed injury management & rehab for 180 umpires with the WA Football Commission. Now, he’s stepping away from AFL to help shape a thriving WA sport physio community.

Dan holds degrees in Physiotherapy and Exercise & Sport Science from Notre Dame, and spent time in the US learning from elite college S&C coaches — giving him a deep understanding of world-class athlete development.

His hands-on work includes:

🏉 East Fremantle FC & WA Country Footy Champs
🏈 USA College Football, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball & Hockey
