Berowra Family Medical Practice At Berowra Family Medical Practice, our team of GPs, Nursing and reception staff aim to provide good, old-fashioned, personalised, quality service.

Our Practice is located in Berowra Heights, in the outer metropolitan area of Sydney. Two local Medical practices amalgamated in May 1999, we are now the largest privately owned Medical Practice in the area. The Practice serves communities from Hawkesbury River to Hornsby. The Berowra Family Medical Practice is housed in purpose-built rooms with seven consulting rooms, a large and easily accessible waiting room and a fully equipped Treatment Room. We also provide X-ray, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, Optometry, Pathology, Psychology, Podiatry and an Audiologist within the Medical facility. We offer immunisation clinics twice a week as well as INR’s done on the premises. The Doctors provide ongoing comprehensive care for patients and their families. Choice of Doctor and continuity of care are encouraged. The Practice also provides an after-hours service seven days a week, with Doctors being available on Monday & Tuesday 8am-10pm, Wednesday-Friday 8am - 8pm and 9:00am – 1pm, 3pm - 8:00pm on Saturdays and 9am - 12pm on Sundays. The team at Berowra Family Medical Practice would like to farewell our beloved physiotherapist Mrs Gosia Pylak who will be retiring and moving up North. We would like to thank Gosia for her 25 years of service to our community and wish her all the best!
We are also happy to advise that Miss Alissa Antoon will be taking over the Physiotherapy practice and is currently welcoming all bookings. She will also be introducing a new Physiotherapist called Steven who will be available for bookings from the 27/05/2024.

ATAGI recommends a 2023 COVID-19 vaccine booster dose for adults in the following groups, if their last COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection (whichever is the most recent) was 6 months ago or longer, and regardless of the number of prior doses received:
• All adults aged 65 years and over
• Adults aged 18-64 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs
ATAGI advises the following groups should consider a 2023 booster dose if their last COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection (whichever is the most recent) was 6 months ago or longer, and regardless of the number of prior doses received, based on an individual risk benefit assessment with their immunisation provider
• All Adults aged 18-64 years without risk factors for severe COVID-19
• Children and adolescents aged 5-17 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs
• COVID-19 vaccine can be co-administered with influenza and other vaccines
• Administration of a 2023 COVID-19 booster dose should aim to occur prior to June 2023 and at a time of 6 months or greater following the most recent COVID-19 vaccine dose or confirmed infection

Just a heads up, if you're visiting us today, a good portion of the carpark is being blocked off today for building works.... the underground carpark might be a good option!

Christmas 2022 closure
The Practice will be closed from 12pm Saturday 24th December and reopen from 8am Wednesday 28th December 2022.

The New year closure will be from 12pm Saturday 31st December 2022 to 8am Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
