What started as a suggestion from her brother has turned into a true passion. Sarah finds it so rewarding to help individuals build independence and confidence in their everyday lives. She’s a firm believer that people with disabilities can achieve independence, they just need the right support and opportunities to do so.

Accessing Occupational Therapy in the Riverland just got easier!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of S&C Allied Health, bringing local occupational therapy (OT) services right here to the Riverland.

For years, families have faced long waitlists or travelled hours for OT support, but not anymore! Our new service, led by Emma, a qualified local OT, offers hands-on support for children and young people to build independence, confidence, and everyday skills.

From sensory integration and daily living to school consultations and community participation, S&C Allied Health is here to fill the gap, working alongside our mentoring programs you already know and trust!

This is a huge step for local families and a milestone we’re so proud to share💙

When Paris first joined Support & Connect, even ordering food over the phone felt overwhelming.

Today, she’s working at a fitness centre, helping patients at a medical clinic, and confidently navigating her community - proof of how the right support can unlock potential you never knew you had!

Through consistent mentoring, goal setting, and encouragement, Paris has transformed everyday challenges into real-world wins. From getting her L’s to building independence and finding purpose in her work!

Her journey shows that with belief, structure, and the right support, confidence isn’t out of reach... It’s built, one step at a time 💪
