During our last Women's Wellness Retreat, we revealed how the word 'EXPECTATION' had a profound effect on our lives!

Our 'Expectations' of people
Our 'Expectations' of situations
Our 'Expectations' of outcomes
Our 'Expectations' of how people should behave
Our 'Expectations' of the 'norm'
AND
Our 'Expectations' of ourselves

It is 'Our Expectations' that makes us judge people, whether someone is right or wrong, how people should treat us, how people should talk to us or whether we like someone or not!

When you really examine this word 'Expectations' ... it has a profound effect on our lives..

At the same time, when we drop our Expectations and accept people, situations and even societies 'norms' ... your whole perspective to life changes.

It is easy to say "I don't have any Expectations" but we all do have certain 'Expectations'
AND it is a difficult thing to achieve !

Try dropping your Expectations of people, even when they yell and scream at you, try accepting people for their 'arrogance'
It is not easy 🤔🙃

Yet, the solutions we came up with at our Retreat was..
✨️ Power of Forgiveness- accepting people's behaviour and forgiving them.... because through their eyes, that is the normal behaviour for them, they can't see anything wrong with yelling or telling someone to F... off!
Accepting that it is how they communicate and that is the language they are used to... makes it easy to accept and forgive - once you forgive... then you can change your Expectations of them.. and how they behave

✨️ Thank them for their behaviour (you don't have to go up to them to thank them) metaphorically ' Thank them' . Because their behaviour changed your expectations of people and it was a free lesson for you to reveal what you value in life

✨️ when you go through every situation in your life and change your 'Expectations'.. you can heal your life and be the person you are meant to be.
