If you are over 70 years old you are eligible for a free pneumococcal vaccine. Pneumococcal disease is a bacterial infection. It can cause pneumonia, bloodstream infection and meningitis. Call and speak to one of our pharmacists to book in.

This week is National Stroke week. This week aims to raise awareness of the signs of stroke:
💚Face - Check their face. Has their mouth drooped?
💚Arms - Can they lift both arms?
💚Speech - Is their speech slurred? Do they understand you?
💚Time - Is critical. If you see any of these signs call 000 straight away

It is also a great reminder for everyone to have their blood pressure checked. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for stroke, and often goes undiagnosed as there are often no symptoms to recognise.
