For some it’s a religious day - a sad one too. Good Friday ✝️

Of course there a various takes on what this means but for majority it’s a Holy day - the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.

There were many essential oils mentioned through out the bible. If you are honouring this day maybe anoint yourself with some of these oils, pop some into your diffuser as you pray and give thanks 🙏🏻

Ok fess 🆙 When was the last time you cleaned your makeup brushes?

AGES? Me too 😆🙈

But better late than ever right?
Super easy to do using your essential oils and some OnGuard Cleaning concentrate - don’t have these? Don’t panic there are many recipes, point is the time is now to get those brushes clean!

You’ll be surprised! And it only takes about 5 mins!

✨Ingredients:

2 tablespoons doTERRA fractionated coconut oil

OR 1 tablespoon of castor oil or 2 tablespoons of OG Concentrate.

5 drops Tea Tree EO

5 drops Grapefruit EO

✨Instructions:

🌻 Add fractionated coconut oil or castor oil or concentrate and essential oils into a small bowl.

🌻 Swirl your makeup brush in the fractionated coconut oil for 30 seconds, or until you see the makeup stored in your brush start to come out.

🌻 Rub in a circular motion on the palm of your hand to help get the makeup out.

🌻 Rinse the brush under warm water. Gently squeeze brush bristles until clean, and the water runs clear.

🌻 Let your newly cleaned makeup brushes dry on a towel for four hours, or until dry. Repeat once a month, or at least yearly like me! 🤣🤣

Did you read my post last week about all the New Year BLA BLA BLA?

About why the thought of New Year resolutions make you wanna vomit – why the whole “New Year New You” is just yuck!

Read on its juicy and I connect with this deeply - do you?

The Sun and Earth at New Years is always in the gates of 38/39 – interesting combination of energy:
Gate 38 – The Gate of the Fighter:
Gate 39 – The Gate of Provocation
Meaning the traditional dates for setting resolutions are carrying the energy of opposition and obstruction, of fighting and provoking! It is no wonder we are caught up in a certain amount of turmoil! That forced energy – I must do this, I need to do this etc….
You can feel that can’t you?
It is no wonder New Years is rooted in some serious contentious energy!
Trying to create something, launching into a new cycle amongst that energy will be a real struggle!!

However it does get better – the Human Design new year commenced yesterday on the 22nd January when the sun enters
Gate 41 – The Gate of Contraction – Decrease
“The energy of contracting or pulling back. It is an emotional energy of regrouping in preparation for the next expansion”

Now doesn’t that sound better, the correct energy to be in to embark on our next human experience for the year ahead?

So again I encourage you to go slow, don’t force it, don’t be pressured to change. Allow yourself space to rest and ponder.

SWEATY GLOW ⭐️

It’s always hard to get back into body movement after a few weeks break but boy it feels good!

Moving our bodies is crucial for vitality in my opinion so however that looks for you get your butt 🆙 and get moving! 🏃‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️ 💃 🧘‍♀️

It can look and feel different for everyone - my 🔝 tips are:

🌻 Listen to your body at all times
🌻 Be consistent
🌻 Choose a body movement that you enjoy

A bonus hint - I don’t call it exercise - I call it nourishing my body - wellness movement!
