Sitting in the Emergency Department isn't on anyone's to-do list. That's why we now offer an online 'Virtual ED'.

The My Emergency Doctor service allows you to call and speak to an emergency doctor, who will be able to help with prescriptions, referrals and advice. The best bit is if you need to be admitted to the hospital, they can arrange direct admission to St John of God Berwick Hospital, allowing you to avoid waiting in the ED.
