The Circle of Security Parenting Program is an 8 week, Online program, for parents of children aged 0-5years old and beyond.

Based on over 40 years of research on the development of a secure relationship between parent and child. This program aims to enhance your parental innate wisdom, support the development of your child's self-esteem, learn to read your child's emotional needs and support your child's ability to manage emotions.

This program will be facilitated by Anita, a registered facilitator, psychologist and mother.

○ PERINATAL WEEK

Perinatal refers to the weeks/months just before and after birth.

As we connect with mothers, fathers and their families more, we understand that the seeds that arise during this period, begin long before birth and even conception. So this calls for an invitation to expand the idea of Perinatal to Preconception and to the ways in which a parent develops throughout the lifespan of this process.

A call to the community, or the village, to consider the development of a parent through a developmental lens, paralleled to the development of an infant.

And why the village mindsight, although not necessarily always in close proximity, is paramount to uplifting ideals and stigma associated with 'the perfect parent', making way for realistic expectations and open arms of support at each stage of the Perinatal process.
