In our Yoga classes with Bicheno Bluecoast Community Yoga we honor the spirit of curiosity, courage, and compassion that brings us together.
We will celebrate each breath, each movement, and each moment of connection.
Yoga is a practice that invites you to explore the connection between your mind, body, and breath. In our classes, Iโll gently introduce you to the foundational poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices that form the essence of yoga.
You will be encouraged to approach your practice with an open heart and a curious mind. A safe space is provided for you to honor your body and explore its capabilities at your own pace.
Before we dive into the physical postures, we will focus on the breath with a pranayama. Through guided breathing exercises, we bring awareness to the present moment, anchoring our minds and preparing our bodies for movement.
As you move through your practice, I will encourage mindful awareness of any sensations in the body, thoughts in the mind, and emotions in the heart. Yoga becomes a practice of self-study, allowing you to cultivate greater self-awareness and presence both on and off the mat.
As we near the end of class, you will transition into gentle stretches and relaxation poses to release tension and prepare the body for savasana, or final relaxation. Here you will experience a gentle โsound bathโ. This is a sacred time to integrate the benefits of your practice and surrender into deep rest.
We close our practice with a moment of gratitude, acknowledging the effort and dedication each participant has shown to themselves and their well-being. We carry the peace, strength, and clarity cultivated on the mat with us as we transition back into our daily lives.
