Let's talk about it.....
Anger is a strong and often intense emotional response triggered by perceived threats, frustration or a sense of injustice. It is a normal and natural emotion experienced by humans, but its expression and management can vary widely from person to person.
Anger typically involves a combination of physiological responses (increased heart rate, muscle tension and adrenaline release) and psychological reactions (such as irritability, annoyance and rage).
Some causes of anger can be things such as;
- Percevied Threats
- Frustration
- Injustice
- Expectations vs Reality
- Personal Hurt or Offence
- Unmet Needs
- Chronic Stress
- History and Trauma
- Lack of Coping Skills
- Mental Health Issues
It is important to note that experiencing Anger is not inherently a negative thing. It can motivate people to address issues and make positive changes. However uncontrolled and chronic anger can have adverse effects on mental and physical health, relationships and your overall wellbeing.
Do you recognise the signs of anger building within yourself? And if so, HOW do you recognise this?
